Mark: With the sheer amount of touring that took place over the 2 years following the release of Where Angels Fear To Fly, I often found myself alone and awake after gigs. In a hotel room, wide awake while others were asleep back home. On the surface the song is about me realizing that whilst Im living my dream, my heart lies at home with my loved ones. On a universal level, it identifies with everyone who has felt alone or desolate at one time and then felt reassurance with someone or something. I really enjoyed recording this track - I delved really deep into the old Mississippi blues and Louisiana styled R&B and blended it with my natural rock swing and a bit of new-school beats.
