Mark..written after the Overflow Lord, Father, God - May I, through Your Son – Jesus Christ — be permitted Your ear. Who is man, that You are mindful of him? In our best intentions we try to emulate Your attributes. Expressing the love that You possess. Seeing the worthiness of those cast aside. Giving to those who have not earned. And each and every time it is an act of futility. For who can compare with You. But….ohhhh, my Lord…I praise You for the gift of my second rate offering. For by it, I see the impurity of my love in contrast to the untainted nature of Your Love. I see my inconsistency in identifying the worthy against the light of Your ability to make all worthy. I see the internal strain on my giving - when You are a God who creates just to give. Who is man, that You are mindful of him? My God, my creator, through Your Spirit Make me love beyond my ability to assess why. Make me recognize the worthiness that You have assigned all created in Your image. Make me realize that I can give nothing, but help me give more – for You are everything. Who is man, that You are mindful of him? He is Your creation – there it began and there our reasoning should end. May Your Attributes be Increasingly Praised, Mark
