Marko: when writing the songs of this EP, I decided to adhere to a formula; at the end of the day Alchemy is about transformations, processes and formulas, right? So I decided to stick to a film sample + main grove + breakdown + main grove + end kind of song-shape. In spite of this, I believe we ended up with four tracks with rather different feel and sound... Any other musician/artistically-inclined-mind here agrees that giving one self boundaries does actually allow for more creativity than total artistic freedom?
