Marouane Fellaini: I’ll help fire Manchester United to Premier League title Marouane Fellaini says his move to Manchester United is all about winning trophies, with the midfielder determined to land the Premier League title this term. Fellaini left United to move to Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, with United paying £27.5million to reunite him with former Toffees boss David Moyes . And after signing a five-year-deal with United, the 25-year-old says he just wants to focus on winning silverware. ‘This is a new story for me now – I want to win trophies and play in the Champions League, and with Manchester United I can do that,’ said Fellaini. ‘I know Everton wanted to keep me, but I played there for five years, and the time has come for me to leave. ‘Will we win the Premier League title this season? I really hope so. I will do everything I can to make it happen.’ Fellaini’s move to United comes amid claims that the Belgian turned down £4million in a loyalty bonus to make the transfer happen. However, Everton have since denied this is the case, with their director of communications Alan Myers taking to Twitter to dispel the rumours. ‘For those asking: No Felli did NOT pay £4M of the transfer fee! The buying Club will pay £27.5M,’ tweeted Myers. Fellaini is in line to make his United debut against Crystal Palace after the international break.
