Marriage and Divorce . What a topic. The Bible Mark 10:1-9 This is interesting. They ask about divorce, and Jesus transitions it to marriage! v6. Many say well we are in modern times now, things change . But look here, Jesus (at his time on earth) takes them back to the beginning of creation! I would think things changed from creation to the time Jesus walked the earth. HE points out man shall leave his mother and father and be JOINED to his wife to become one. Husbands and wives need to work together and focus on the same direction. This to me shows that the relationship and bond between husband and his wife (and vise versa) should more important than a relationship with your children, or the parent child relationship. Trying to live a Godly marriage (God as the focus of the relationship), will not only be joyful, but makes the difficult times so much easier when both are focused on the same. At the same time, the child will learn by example seeing what a healthy marriage is. Love God, Love People I am blessed by God, and my Godly wife.. life is good
