Marriage, though the closest relationship that exists between a man and woman, is more than just a living arrangement or a legal agreement. Marriage is a creation of God. God knows how marriage works best. He knows what it takes for marriages, including yours, to succeed, not just for enhancing the happiness of the family, but in fully reflecting the depth of His love. God is keenly interested in your marriage. He wants it to grow and succeed, but you have to let Him have the total control of the relationship. How do you do that? By giving Christ His rightful place as the head of your marriage. See your marriage as a triangular relationship, where you, husband and wife, are at the bottom, and Christ is at the helm. You make Christ the head of your marriage when you surrender your lives to Him as a couple.
