Marsha and myself had a great Anniversary. We said the heck with the diets and went out for breakfast loaded with carbs and starch. After doing without for such a long time, this was the best breakfast ever. We waited for it to warm up, and we then went for a drive to scout for Turkey. Mostly it was unproductive till we drove to the end of THE road to public hunting. Road was damp clay holding fresh Turkey tracks to such an extent that I have new ever seen anything like it. I located the road coming off a field than they all used to get to where we were parked. Now I have to take the map I printed off to DNR to get clarification what is Private, and what is Public. This is where we might be screwed, so until I get the boundaries set, I am trying to keep my excitement under control. Could be the place I have been looking for to get Marsha and myself out hunting in Iowa for Turkeys.
