Martha Ann Bell: aka Nana, Today, we have been married for fifty - TopicsExpress

Martha Ann Bell: aka Nana, Today, we have been married for fifty years, though it seems like it’s so much shorter. Every moment with you has been an undeserved reward. You have been a tremendous blessing in my life, one that I would not trade for anything in the world. You are irreplaceable. Valuable beyond all measure. A gift from God. And there isnt a day that goes by where I dont thank Him for putting you in my life. You are, without a doubt, the best person that I know, and your influence has, and will continue to shape me into who I am supposed to be. When I look at your smile, I know joy in my heart. I treasure your virtue and marvel at your childlike innocence. Your heart is kind like someone who has never known hurt, though I know that not to be true. You are unaffected by the world, which is a quality that I admire. You love me unconditionally and you humble me. Yes, me. And though I never adequately express it, I love you more than life. So often I was so focused on trying to secure the future that I neglect to seize the moment. You and I are different, yet we strike a complementary balance in each other. We form a whole much greater than either of us would be separate and apart. God has bless us with Wendy and Jerry Jr. two precious lives to love and provide for. This blessing has grown with the addition of their spouses, Clint and Jennie, and now six grandchildren; Clint, Hannah, Evan, Grace, Renee and Jackson. (We should have had them first) 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. What incredible joy these have added to our family! Life is so much better when you have someone to share it with. Never has that statement been so true as the time Ive spent with you. Thinking about our first fifty years together as husband and wife and all we have been through, has been, in my opinion, extraordinarily easy. The reason I can say that is because I see God with us every step of the way. I am excited about what our future holds. As long as we remain a team, God being the head, the seemingly impossible will become practically inevitable. As time continues on, we will undoubtedly face tests. But whatever may occur, we know God will carry us through. Goodness and mercy have and will continue to follows all the days of our lives! I want everyone in the world to know: I love you. I love you. I love you.
