Martin Luther King Day. Everybody deserves to have this day off. This is a holiday that was made in our lifetime for the greatest of reasons, it honors someone who declared, The kingdom of God will be a society in which men and women live as children of God should live. It will be a kingdom controlled by love. .. Although the world seems to be in bad shape today, we must never lose faith in the power of God to achieve his purpose. Make this day a day to express the power of love through your life in honor of King, who honored God. Call a state rep and plead for an end to the Death Penalty in NH. Consider a gift to an organization that helps feed and clothe others. Tell your kids you love them. If you go out for lunch or dinner offer a big tip to the person who is working for you on a day we should all have off. Take some new step forward in the name of love. (Play some U2 real loud).
