Marty was supposed to practice her speech exercises and go through some of her physical therapy routines. I tried to motivate her several times throughout the day but she seemed to know it was the seventh day and was more interested in resting. Whenever I asked her for voice exercises, she would start and conclude with I love you. The same was true of the physical exercises. But then, dont think Im complaining. She gets a free pass with those 3 words every time. She has a tendency to talk much too fast and that combined with a voice that is a very weak whisper makes it impossible to understand her at times. I finally had success in that area, getting her to slow the speech and force more air over the vocal chords. She finally said, quite clearly, I can do it because Ive done it before. Success! By the end of the day, she finally did all of her routines for me. Together, with Gods direction, we will pull through this!
