Maruti Wagon R Stingray to launch on August 21 The Maruti Wagon R Stingray will be launched on August 21st, 2013. The new Stingray will have new looks and designs and of course with some new features as well.The Stingray has got a new front which looks more aggressive with the new sleeker projector headlights, front bumpers and new grille. With this, Maruti Wagon R Stingray will challenging other cars in its segment.The most attractive features are the front bumper and alloy wheel design. At the rear, the car gets a silver surround on the taillights with a ‘Stingray’ logo in chrome. The interiors will be an all-black instead of dual-tone beige interiors.The car in the picture is the VXi variant with no ABS and airbags. And hence, one can say that the company might launch Stingray in two variant options.According to trade media reports, the Stingray will launch on August 21 and will be placed above the current Wagon R. The company has not said anything on the pricing but Maruti to charge a premium of about Rs. 40,000-50,000 over the everyday Wagon R.
