His daughter was born of a prior marriage of 12 years. He later remarried and raised two sons in West Philadelphia. Marvin was renowned for his extensive, exhaustive collection of jazz and R&B music containing thousands of albums. Marvin is survived by: his wife of 34 years, Patricia; children, Nicole, Marvin and Michael; a granddaughter, Destinee; sister, Doris; god-sister, Anne; son-in-law, Don; daughter-in-law, Rosemary; his longtime buddy, Harvey; a host of family by blood and marriage; and friends both near and far.
