Mary F. Mueller Endorsed by the Republican Party for Re-Election to the Naples Town Board I have been a resident of Naples for 38 years. In 1975 I married Frank H. Mueller and together we started a family. My daughter Marion was born in 1976 and the birth of my son Frank followed in 1979, both currently reside in Naples. I have served as a member of the Naples Town Board since 2009 after having served on the Naples Planning Board for 10 years (1999-2009), and served as the Town of Naples Tax Collector for 6 years (1990-1995). Currently I also serve as the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Council representative for both the Town and Village of Naples The single biggest issue facing the Town of Naples is creating a fiscally responsible municipal budget each year. With the numerous unfunded mandates required from the State of New York it is an annual challenge to create a balanced budget that provides much needed funding that directly affects the health safety and welfare of the residents of this community. One integral part of this budget is providing funds to maintain an up to date Municipal Master Plan, which ensures the community has an active voice for State wide issues such as maintaining Municipal Home Rule. My decision in 2009 and again in 2013 to run for Town Board was based upon the simple fact that living and raising a family in this exceptional community instilled in me the desire to give back to the community that has give me so much over the 38 years I have been an active part of it. During my tenure as a member of the Town Council the Council has produced annually a balanced budget that has ensured there are funds available to protect the health, safety and welfare of the resident of the Town of Naples. I have attended just about every Town and Village Board meeting for the past 10 years. I continue to have a strong desire to give back to the Naples Community and wish to continue to represent the residents of Naples as a member of the Town Council.
