RDOD is from 9am to 3pm and it would be nice if a few of you could take an hour or so at the booth so we can enter some of the events too. Please call Joyce at 651-402-3414 if you can bring a collie & help so she can make a schedule. Thanks! We also would like to have a short meeting at noon for those of you who can make it. There will be many events going on all day but you do have to sign up for some of them. I have posted their flyer below. Food is also available to purchase or you can bring your own. Responsible Dog Ownership Day September 7, 2013 Come one, come all to experience the vast variety of activities enjoyed by dogs and their owners. All well behaved dogs on leash with proof of vaccination are welcome. A great family event held at Washington County Fairgrounds, 12300 40th Street North, Lake Elmo, from 9:00 AM till 3:00 PM. Participants include over 40 All-Breed, Breed Group and Specialty Clubs from throughout Minnesota. Events include American Kennel Club Meet the Breeds, Meet the Groomer, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Weight pull, Earth dog tunnels, Conformation, including free handling lessons, St. Croix Valley Tracking Club tracking demonstration. Special events: Free Canine Good Citizen testing and low cost TDI evaluation will be offered at this event. A microchip clinic (ID your dog) is available on-site for $25.00 including registration.$5.00 from each chip sold is donated to the Three Day Breast Cancer Walk. An AKC Canine Experience match for conformation, obedience, and rally will be held starting at noon and is open to all recognized breeds including Foundation Stock Services. This match is to encourage new dog owners to try these venues and there is no charge for entry in this event. Food will be available on the grounds provided by the Animal Inn Junior Handlers Group.
