Mary Update 10/10 - And now for some REALLY good news. Mary was examined by Dr. Matt Hummel (her surgeon and osteopathic specialist) today. He was completely blown away by her progress and...(drum roll)...gave her permission to stop using her leg brace! We must be extremely careful and Mary must continue to use her walker outside the house. BUT...this development was not anticipated for another 2 months. What has brought about this miracle? DUH! Aside from Dr. Hummels matchless skills and Marys magnificent capacity for regeneration, its been your prayers, good wishes, and cards. We still have a LONG way to go, but as long as Mary doesnt fall or hyperextend her knee then we will be starting to return to normal. Again, we thank all of you for your constant support, concern, and prayers.
