Maryland’s major-party candidates for governor attended church services in Prince George’s County on Sunday before fanning out across the region to urge supporters to vote Tuesday in a tighter race than many expected. Republican Larry Hogan, an Anne Arundel County businessman, spent much of the afternoon in Baltimore, hitting a ravioli dinner at a church in Little Italy before greeting bar patrons in the Canton neighborhood. After 6 p.m., he joined New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) in Baltimore for a rally that drew hundreds of people.
