Maseno University is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Deputy Vice- Chancellors, who take office with immediate effect. Professor Mary J. Kipsat Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Mary J. Kipsat is an Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics and Resource Management. Prof. Kipsat is the immediate former Dean, School of Business and Economics at Moi University, a position she held for two terms, having been elected by majority vote. Prior to that, she was Head of Department of Agricultural Resource, Economics and Management since 2004, when she joined Moi University. She graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree in 1996. Mary obtained her Masters in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management degree in 2002 and Doctorate in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management in 2006, both from Moi University.
