Mashallah, for the third year, MIA physics class (Sr. Samahs students) have participated in the UM Physics Olympiad. This year it was on May 10th. For the second year, Mashallah, we have winning teams. We had two groups: Girls group: Eglal Samir, Razan Tanbour, Seema Qoronfleh and they won 3rd place in the Pasta Bridge Competition. The second team won second place in the Physics Bowl Competition: Mohammed Zouabi, Rama Zouabi, Hunzla Zaidi and Kamal Dajani. For that, they were exempt from the Physics final for this semester. If anyone interested in seeing their projects (Trebuchet, solar cars, egg catcher or the bridge), they will be on display during the Open House this Saturday 2pm - 5pm. Hurray to MIA Students! NEW INFORMATION just in: In 2012, we placed first in the solar car and broke a record (Meryam Nahlawi, Sumayya Atmeh), a third place in the trebuchet (Muhammad Hassan, Kamel Ghali) under Sr. Samahs supervision. In 2013, we placed first place in the small hadron collider (Ziad Buchh, Mohammed Baghdadi) under the supervision of Sr. Falak.
