Massive well done to the U9s today. All really worked hard and got through a lot of tackling. Despite a few knocks and bumps, the boys battled through the pain barrier and carried on. Reece had to call it a day early as he injured his neck after after getting squashed by George. Poor George was really upset about it. But Reece assured him he was ok and he knew he didnt mean it. We saw some great tackling from Thomas Paddy, Max, Jay and Dom throughout the morning. And we finished off with a game on a full Under 9s sized pitch. This I have to say looked to outface the boys defensive skills. However there were some great runs from Declan and George battering there way through the defensive lines. Jay, Dylan and Dom also showing some really strong and fast running. Massiveu up the teams. And didnt shy away from any contact I might add. Throwing in some big hits. So good on you Sid. Cant wait for next year to see him coming into his own when he starts tackling properly. Leo and Josh were captains for the game and both showed great organisational skills getting there teams back in defensive lines and attacking plays. Well done boys. Vishal got thrown around and knocked about a lot but got up and carried on making some awesome tackles. Will scored a couple of great tries too. The boys need to understand that its a big year for them and they need to concentrate on what theyre being taught. Training again on Thursday. Can we make sure all the boys bring him shields from now on. Well done!
