Mastelotto has been a member of King Crimson since 1994. He has formed part of the double trio with Bill Bruford on drums periods 1995-1997. In addition he has continued working in parallel to the band projects 2000-2003 to the present day. In the new KC´s project 2014 is called to participate in the sound for three drummers joining Gavin Harrison and Bill Rieflin). The double trio convened for rehearsals in Woodstock in 1994 and released the EP Vrooom in the same year. The revived band made its concert debut with Pat Mastelotto in Buenos Aires 28 September 1994.
