Master in Business Administration INTRODUCTION Our MBA programme is designed to meet the needs for proficient managers, leaders and entrepreneurs. The programme aims to produce graduates with high ethical values and accountability that able to demonstrate good business knowledge, communicate effectively, work as an effective team member, think critically and creatively in identifying business solutions, use knowledge and skills to stay current and relevant, and demonstrate entrepreneurship and leadership skills. Students in the MBA programme can specialize in any one of the following: • Entrepreneurship • Finance • Marketing • Human Resource Management • International Business • Corporate Governance • General Management • Natural Resources Management DURATION OF STUDY Students with full-time status are required to register for at least 9 credit hours (local) and 12 credit hours (international) per trimester, and can complete the programme in 4 to 5 trimesters. Students with part-time status must register for at least 6 credit hours per trimester, and they can complete the programme in 6 to 8 trimesters. Students that follow modular approach will only register one subject (i.e. 3 credit hours), and they can complete the programme in 2 years and 6 months. CLASSES Morning Classes: Classes are held during office hours (9.00 am - 12.00 pm or 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm) on weekdays. Evening Classes: Classes are held during the evenings (6.30 pm - 9.30 pm) on weekdays. Modular Classes: Classes are held during weekend (9.00 am - 5.00 pm) i.e. on Saturday or Sunday. STUDENT INTAKES There are three intakes of students; in March (first trimester), July (second trimester) and December (Third Trimester) of each academic year.
