Master in Management of Development The Turin School of Development (a programme of the International Training Centre of the ILO) in partnership with the University of Turin offers this 1st level European Master Degree in Management of Development which is designed as an intensive blended learning program through a succession of internet-based distance learning followed by interactive classroom attendance and practical application/research work. The programme provides a conceptual and operational framework for management of development from an inter-disciplinary perspective thereby integrating socioeconomic policy with detailed exposure to the legal, institutional and managerial frameworks for effective implementation of national development policies, programmes and projects. The programme is composed of three parts as follows and is designed in such a way to minimize participants’ absence from work duties back home . distance learning module: from 10 November 2014 to 31 January 2015 residential phase: from 2 February 2015 to 5 June 2015 Preparation and submission of the final Thesis: the outline of the dissertation is to be presented in Turin by 5 June 2015 and it is to be completed before the end of November 2015. A limited number of partial fellowships may become available from sponsors in order to facilitate the participation of deserving candidates from developing and transition countries who are unable to meet the full tuition fees.
