Mathew 5:41 (ASV) "And whosoever shall compel thee to go one mile, go with him two." Many times we activate our faith in hope for blessings, grace, and redemption. However, in order for one to receive the blessing, grace and redemption, sometimes God calls us to make a sacrifice. Sacrifice, where we pay the price. Where we take the loss. Here we see a heavier side of faith. Can we activate our faith when, by choice of our own free will, embark down a road that will cause pain, that will go through the fire. Not for our own benefit, but for the benefit of another. Go with him two miles? Why? What do we receive out of this? Nothing in this life time. We do it simply because God asks us to. As he asked his only son Jesus. All for the glory of his kingdom and in hope that another can find his or her way home. I myself pray that God will give me the strength and courage to make the right decision when I am faced with this request.
