Matt 22:34 But the Pharisees, having heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, were gathered together, Matt 22:35 and one of them, one learned in the Torah, did question, trying Him, and saying, Matt 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great command in the Torah?” Matt 22:37 And יהושע said to him, “ ‘You shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’ Matt 22:38 “This is the first and great command. Matt 22:39 “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ Matt 22:40 “On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.” Matt 22:41 And when the Pharisees were gathered together, יהושע asked them, Matt 22:42 saying, “What do you think concerning the Messiah? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “The Son of Dawiḏ.” Matt 22:43 He said to them, “Then how does Dawiḏ in the Spirit call Him ‘Master,’ saying, Matt 22:44 ‘יהוה said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool of Your feet” ’? Matt 22:45 “If then Dawiḏ calls Him ‘Master,’ how is He his Son?” Matt 22:46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, and from that day on no one was bold enough to ask Him any more questions. So many think that following Torah is being like the Pharisees, No they were part of a man made religion known today as Judaism. They could never answer the simplest questions concerning Torah.I had a run in with two people in Judaism that like the Pharisees could not answer one simple question yet could not accept when I quoted Torah because it did not line up with their Babylonian Talmud. Our savoir taught Torah and the Prophets not Judaism or Christianity and that is the Way of the Word.
