Matt Albert: 2014... Started off with Save the dogs from Flat Creek Border Collies, and ended with my lil Gangster Angels https://youtube/watch?v=P6PR_rWcpoM serving process on Lockport Police for killing Justice 4 Junior in an all too common display of police state heartlessness and thuggery followed by cover up and corruption at the highest levels of local government. In between was Put Dog Fighting Buffalo Peace Officer Behind Bars, a slew of police shooting dogs out of some macabre sense of sport, and many other adventures that we tried to transform from the tragic to a more fair and just result. Many of these cases are ongoing in nature. Meeting many wonderful and like minded people was also part of the journey, as was doing the independent rescues, that, as my slogan goes... the other rescues wont. Diablo, Samson, Chewy, aka George, and, most controversially, Redemption Song: Bentleys Chance, are examples of that. All dogs with significant bite histories that were about to be euthanized, and that are now thriving, with Bentley still a work in progress. Thankfully, all animals we have placed, including many that were never even posted about, are thriving in loving homes. Through networking, a movement has been born... through networking, Im convinced that our movement will reach heights unseen. The tumultuous year was not without a cost, mostly upon my own soul. At times, by absorbing so much injustice, grief, and pain, I fell into a dark place where addiction offered the only relief. But that is now also a thing of the year past. My only addiction going forward will be Shakeology and working out... sound body and a sound mind is essential as we are going into battle. 2015 promises to be a year that will make 2014 look tame by comparison... we are going to change the world for the better if it kills us. To that end, we have soooo many plans that will soon be unveiled. For now, thank you everyone that has helped in all these different quests... we will not be voices for the voiceless, we will be VICTORS. Happy New Year to the innocents and those willing to protect them... and woe to all those who think that evil is good, and good is evil.
