Matt Bomer Spills on Magic Mike Sequel Matt Bomer has the ladies -- and no doubt some gentlemen -- excited after spilling details Friday about the sequel to the 2012 hit film, Magic Mike. My understanding is [production is] gonna start this fall and I think Channing [Tatum] announced recently that its kind of a road trip film that leads to a stripper convention, which really exists! Bomer said on Fridays The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Its a real-life thing. You know, only the best of the best make it. Its a strip-off to the death, he quipped, before adding, Im making that up. I have no idea. Bomer is only rumored to reprise his role as Ken in Magic Mike XXL. So far, only Tatum and original co-star Matthew McConaughey are confirmed to return in their roles as strippers in the sequel.
