Matteo Guidicelli denies breakup with Sarah Geronimo: ‘Everything’s good, we’re happy’ With his afternoon series Galema on its last month run, Matteo Guidicelli shared with the press his excitement over the epic finale during their thanksgiving presscon held last March 11 at The Lounge in Quezon City. “Just three more weeks to go and there’s a big transformation happening. Merong mamamatay, merong maiiba at yun sobrang dapat abangan yung last few weeks ng Galema,” he shared. Having kept mum about his rumored relationship with Sarah Geronimo, Matteo denied he and the Popstar Princess had a falling out because her parents did not approve of him courting her. “Falling out? Rumors are always rumors and basta everything’s positive and I try to keep it positive but it’s okay, everybody’s happy. Huwag na natin pag-usapan yun. Okay na yun. Like what direk Wenn (Deramas) always tells me, just always be honest with ourselves and if we do good, good things will come back to us. Yun lang, positive always,” he said. Although he refused to comment on how things are between him and Sarah’s Mommy Divine, Matteo chose his words carefully. “Wala, wala akong masabi dun po eh. Everybody can take care of themselves, ‘di ba? And basta if we just respect everybody, everybody will respect us back,” he added. Although he was seen attending a Victory church service with Sarah last month, Matteo said people should not think too much of it. “We just decided to go, that’s it. Yun lang. I don’t know [why I went with her], because it’s different? It’s a different experience. I go to a Catholic church also. I’m really Catholic. So yun lang. Everything’s good, we’re happy. Everybody’s happy,” he explained. But when asked what the real status of their relationship is at this point, Matteo begged off saying, “Next time na lang (laughs). Next time na lang natin isagot yan.” But he did have something to say about Sarah’s new hairstyle. “Sarah’s never looked as beautiful to date. She’s very beautiful with her short hair and she looks good and I’m proud of her. Like all of us would say and as I would say, she looks hot. (laughs) She’s beautiful, she’s very beautiful,” he admitted. During the Galema presscon, the Kapamilya hunk said he is the type of man who is values the people he loves. “I’d do anything for love if I love the person. You really fight for what you think is right and what you feel is right. That’s what direk Wenn taught me,” he said.
