#Matters_Arising: I thank God that all the Accusations and Counter-Accusations between the Ruling Party in Imo State and the Opposition Party in the State about Who planted Bombs, How they were Planted and Why they didnt Explode had fizzled out. I dont intend to call off this truce here with my writeup but to add my voice in calling Umunnem na Umunnam in other States of Nigeria to always Think Home. Lets always make What is Good for Ndigbo our catchphrase in all our dealings and establishments. Someone is about asking, what business does one issue has with the other?. Well, Ive lived in one of these Religion cum Tribal Intolerant States for over a decade now, and have seen the Human and Economic lost Igbos suffer after every violence. Ive also heard Indigenes of the State talk about how theyll share all Igbos landed properties in case of any eventuality to the Unholy Union conducted in 1914. Its indeed really ridiculous to listen to grown men discuss which and what houses or companies theyll inherit after forcing Igbos out of their Lands. This again, doesnt bother me as everyone is entitled to his/her Aspiration. What really worries me is majority of Ndigbos Sophisticated Nonchalant Attitude in all these. Igbos are now more Nomadic with their Resources than the Fulani herdsmen. I dont know how many of us took notice of the name of the Head/State-Pastor of the Winners Chapel where those Bombs were discovered. We all know the General-Overseer, his Tribe and where all his vital Investments are planted. Yet, he still took that unapologetically Tribal-Interest in making sure that ALL his States Head-Churches are Pastored by One of his Own; Yoruba. Does it mean that no Igbo, Hausa, Efik, Ibibio, Kalabari, Esan, Tiv, Idoma, etc. has the Anointing and Unction to Pastor such Churches?? But to Daddy-GO, aside from protecting the Profits (in form of Tithes) from his Investments in these States, he also Empowers his Tribesmen and make them Dominance in the New-Gen Industrial Sector. This Ethic and Norm, Culture and Tradition is what most of us lack as Igbos. We always prefer Solo-Achievements and Individual-Glories. Only few Igbos consider Tribal-Sustenance in their Economic dealings in this Nation brimmed by Tribal-Animosity against the IGBOS! Most Corporate Igbos prefer to have their Head-Offices in Sambisa-Forest than anywhere in South-East, and also more rewarding for one Gambari or Ayodele heading their Establishments. Presently, NO Indigene of the State where I reside wants to buy any Landed-Property of any Igbo-Man because they all believe that theyll get them for FREE with TIME! Lets STOP playing the Ostrich with our RESOURCES! East, West, North or South, HOME is the BEST!
