Matthew 1:23 KJV Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. ............................ The fundamental aspect of Christianity does not begin with the church house but with Christ himself. Too many people define themselves to be good or godly because they attend a place of worship. When asked about their life, their default answer is I am a good person I attend church. Now let me quickly say there IS a need to attend but that is not what makes you good. (Some of the most hateful people in the world attend church on a regular basis . . just saying if church were to make one good, after 30 or 40 years these would be great people) Goodness is not attained by being in church but by Christ being in you. Christmas reminds us of the plan of God to bring transformation and redemption to mankind not by the church but by His Christ. Let me end by saying we should be in church (Hebrews 10:25) but what really is important is that Christ should be in us.
