Matthew 11:29a ~ Take my yoke upon you, and learn FROM - TopicsExpress

Matthew 11:29a ~ Take my yoke upon you, and learn FROM me… People need to know that they need to TRUST what JESUS did on Calvarys cross, to save them from the penalty (hell) of their sins. Yet I constantly am asked what to do when people ask all of these questions about Jesus when you are trying to lead them to salvation. I recommend that you give them this verse, and point out that Jesus said. HOOK UP WITH ME (take my yoke) FIRST! Then you can learn FROM (is the original Greek, NOT of) me. Once you allow Him into your life, you can learn FROM the Master Himself! You can learn of or about me by asking someone who knows me. You can only learn FROM me, by having a relationship WITH me. Jesus wants a RELATIONSHIP with us! Heres one more thing you might want to mention to the one questioning you about Jesus. If I were drowning, DONT throw me a book on HOW TO SWIM! Throw me a LIFE PRESERVER or jump in and SAVE ME, then well talk! Ill probably take swimming lessons ...FROM YOU! If youre drowning in a life of sin, this should be your prayer. Lord SAVE ME… then teach me to SWIM!!! :D
