Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. We live in a fallen world and each day many people live blind to the sin that enslaves them. This realization creates a deep sense of mourning in the soul of a person who knows Jesus Christ – the only salvation we have from sin and death. A person who is saved recognizes a deep sense of regret for their own sins that “held” Jesus on the cross. Take courage – you will be comforted as you lay your heart before Christ. He chose to save you and finished that work.
