Matthew 8:26 He replied, You of little faith, why are you so afraid? Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Even when the storm we are going through seems tumultuous and endless, we have to hold fast to the only one who can calm the raging waves...Jesus! When we are in the middle of crisis, hardship, affliction, or trial we begin to have shrouds of doubt and certainty cover us. Instead of resting underneath that blanket, wrap yourself up in the truthfulness of Gods promises that he will not forsake us (Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” -Deuteronomy 31:6). He walks with us every step of the way and he rides out each storm with us, holding tightly to us as the waves crash with power trying to beat us down.
