Matthew and I have this long-going debate about the rhyme, Ring - TopicsExpress

Matthew and I have this long-going debate about the rhyme, Ring Around the Rosie. His version goes: Ring-a-ring o roses, A pocket full of posies, A-tishoo! A-tishoo! We all fall down. Of course, the version I know is: Ring-a-round the rosie, A pocket full of posies, Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down. This came up again this morning, so weve set out to settle the debate. Wikipedia offers some information, denoting that his version is the British version and mine, of course, is the American version. At another site I found the following video. Very macabre.
