Matthew chapter: 24 The sign of the end of the age Note that it says the end of the age and not the end of the earth. Jesus talking with his disciples right before his own death, starting with the fate of Jerusalem, Jesus prophecy was that not one stone would remain, that Jerusalem would be destroyed. Prophecy fullfilled in A.D, 70 when The Romans destroyed it. But Jesus goes on to say several other prophecies that in the end times (which started in 1948 when Israel became a nation) that there would be wars & rumors of wars..(syria, Iraq, Russia,etc) The love of many would grow cold.(violence,gangs, terrorist etc) Earthquakes in different places..(since 1948 earthquakes have greatly increased and spreading into more places)...Jesus does not put the prophecies in order, but they are easy to put into order. In Matthew:24:32 learn the lesson of the fig tree the fig tree is ISRAEL and when you see it being reborn Nation again which happen in 1948 and its leaves branch forth(to growin size) this happen in the war of 1948, Yom Kipper war, The six day war..etc. This is were his prophecies begin at the rebirth of ISRAEL and as we watch the news you see the prophecies coming to pass, But he said do not worry! for these things must come to pass, then the Grace period will end. We are living in the most interested times. The Rapture could happen at any time, for this is the only part of Scripture that is a total mystery, scripture does confirm it will happen, but give no glue as to when. But he will come as a thief in the night.
