Matthew is extremely over stimulated about our move into our new place, which is coming soon. He is counting the days until we get to live in our new home and he can play with all of his toys once again and pace the way Matthew likes. As a result of all of this excitement Matthew’s behavior is up and down; one moment he is calm and quiet doing some math or reading, the next he is jumping up and down and pacing quickly back and forth all the while talking a mile a minute. Unbelievable, Matthew’s kittens, Ariel and Slasher, are the same way; it is like they are copying Matthew’s actions. The kittens go into and out of Matthew’s homes he builds for them, which are multiple stories of cardboard boxes. Even when I take Matthew outside for a walk or to go somewhere Matthew is go-go-go. Matthew has said he does not want to go to any public places right now that have too many people. Matthew says the noise and all of the people bother him; he says he just wants to go to quiet places. I listen to Matthew’s request and respect his wishes as I understand, because he is too over stimulated. After we get everything back to normal, Matthew and I will resume our exploration of new places.
