Maui no ka oi...Ke akua, mahalo nui loa. The last post was titled outrageous, but what was really outrageous was something I couldn’t even bring myself to share. My little mustard seed faith didn’t want to mention the Spring Break plans I’d made last December. The plans that would return Nathalie to the water in Hawaii. Forget the fact that Nathalie hadn’t been swimming for four months, because of an IV PICC line that had to stay dry…and also the fact that through that IV she had been receiving nightly TPN nutrition since leaving the hospital. And then there was the fact that she had just visited the clinic the week prior for help with a nausea bender that just wouldn’t stop... (more)
