We are no longer under the Levitical Priesthood or Mosaic Covenant where we can revert or follow the old ordinances of keeping Sabbath like the Jews. Sabbath was introduce purposely to the vicinity of Israel alone and has nothing for us the gentiles to intervene that Mosaic Covenant.. Perpertuality Ex:31:16: Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. .Sabbath was meant only for the Jewish nation and has nothing to do with us... Status of Liberty De:5:15: And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the Sabbath day. .....Sabbath was also meant for the Israelites to commemorate to long captivity in Egypt for 430years/Galatian 3:17 Our ancestors were indeed not in bondage of slavery and agony so PNG has not point to commemorate the day Sabbath(Saturday) but when Christ came he introduce and fulfilled the law engraved on the stone to law written in the bible which is inspired by Holy Spirit. Bible consist of various covenant like Davidic Covenant, Abrahamic Covenant,Noahic Covenant, Mosaic Covenant and finally the ultimate covenant of Holy Spirit......All this covenant where promised to the Israelites alone whereas Holy Spirit was commission abroad including Gentiles and Israelites..Day of Pentecoast /Acts 2 New temple New Ordinances Mt:27:40: And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.......The veil split in halves and the earth tremble with joy to fulfilled what Jesus about reviving a new temple not made by hand but by spirit...holy sanctuary.....The splittage of veil signified that the old covenant has reached that far after crucifixion and the New Promise/Testament must prevail among many races to fulfilled Abrahamic Covenant... Before the execution the Pharisee/lawyers/Sabbath enforcers/abiders exclaimed that Jesus blood must remain to them has a legacy from generation to generation...Mt 27:25...This statement still remain fresh today if anyone claimed to be a Saturday Observers or Sabbath. Apparently the truth about New Testament Sabbath is visual and transparent and we cant denied the truth and believing on women and men theological assumption...Jesus is the source /substance/author to our faith not esteeming days of worship and making that particular day so precious than Gods glory....Why treating one day special to God rather being righteous everyday ? JESUS broke Sabbath by eating and perfoming healing for his the lord of Sabbath and when doing so the Pharisaic official forming allegation and compromised with the Roman government to execute him because of his law breaking-outlaw......Sabbath Day/Saturday is the main engine that stirred up the lawyers to kill Jesus.....Today many blamed the Roman catholic but the Roman government cleansed their hand with water but not the Jewish...Jesus blood stain is still in their hands/Mt 27:25 PNG is a Christian country and not Judaism but some Christian prefer Sunday, Saturday and others both days...Many today have both agreed to Saturday and Sunday....Keep Sabbath on Saturday and fellowship on Sunday....its confusing now that which day is which day of God.....very funny....Being a original gentile we cant claimed to be Jews or Sabbath keeper....If you say that to a Jewish they will question you and laugh at you because you are not a Jewish person by blood. Sabbath was made for men not man for the Sabbath Mr:2:27: And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:..............The Rest was made for man not man to Rest....God solely concept of Sabbath for man is to REST completely from SIN and not work etc.,,,,,but sin alone...Man cant REST on a particular day only but everyday(sinless)......Sabbath was meant to man to rest and abstain from sin but man appointed certain time to rest... We still practices some of the ceremonial and ritual vows of Judaism is Christian culture and Saturday is one of them...God doesnt count on ceremonial or ritual laws but Moral Law only....Keeping the day holy is shadow, abstain from eating meat/pig ,caffeine is only shadow... True Sabbath Heb:3:7: Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice......Bible didnt define time but season and bible mention about TODAY. There is not such thing as tomorrow, for it will never come....James 4:13-14... Cast your burden to him and he will grant you liberty/freedom/rest...1 Peter 5:7 and thats the call of Salvation to all humanity.... Peter said, Repent be baptised in Jesus name and your sins be forgiven and you will receive the gift of Holy Ghost-Acts 2:38 and the promise is for you and your children v9 Is Saturday important or Repent baptised and receive Holy Spirit is important?....Did You receive Holy Spirit through law or by faith?/Galatians 3:2-3......Holy Spirit is the final promise for us all.....God send Holy Spirit 2000 years in Jerusalem and there 3120 believers converted Christianity manifest. Heb:13:8: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Thats how we all should be when we say we are Sabbath keepers and not one day sabbath keeper or holy.. Read your bible and try understand them.
