Max Pechstein Expressionism Mind’s eye reassembled Feel what you see Happy New Year!!! I liked this painting by Pechstein of the lady in the mask; festive like New Years. I love abstract expressionism. It is a genre whose creations show us the world in the artists eyes—as they see and feel it with color and light. It reminds us that we are all human and have our own unique views of the world. It fractures reality and marries to the “wordless” feelings inside.
