May 8, 2014 Last night I dreamt that I was trying to get to town from Gore Street, but was blocked at every turn by construction projects that involved digging huge holes in the middle of the street. One of the most memorable was behind the picket fence around the house on the corner of Agnes and Meredith. Which between the hole, excavator and debris pile pretty much encompassed the entire yard. Finally I found my way through and entered a strange basement store that was full of candy. I was looking for a package of mini eggs, but they didnt have any. I was then wandering through a tremendous dust storm after arriving in Australia. Eventually I found a door and entered a small general store. The owner was a very young Bruce Campbell. We talked and then I noticed that there was a large green curtain behind him. The curtain was semi-transparent and the light filtering through revealed the outline of a beautiful dark haired women. Apparently I wasnt supposed to notice her and Bruce became somewhat agitated. Next I was watching a crazy action movie. After being beaten up and having his belonging stolen by a gang on bicycles the hero grabbed a bicycle and started peddling after the thieves. The bandits were escaping up hill and by jumping over two medians that were covered with jungle gardens the hero was able to ride downhill towards those who had absconded with his possessions. Close to the bicycles bandits was a large red double-decker bus that was swinging wide in order to make it around a hairpin switchback in the road. The hero grabbed onto the rail of the bus, but in a moment of cinematographic comic relief the conductor would not let him board the bus until he paid the appropriate fair. Once on board he was able to enter into a driving martial arts battle to take down the gang.
