Happy Day of Shabbat, Happy Rosh Hashanah Year 5774, and a Happy Christian Shabbat. | Matthew 11 V 12 “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force” Many liberal and general Pentecostal/Charismatic administrations protect this authority by citing numerous scripture; These scriptures are used in some churches to silence even the mildest forms of dissent, and to prevent the questioning of administrative authority. It is also used to preserve many of these administrations sole control over church finances. In many liberal and general Pentecostal/Charismatic churches, the administrations need no approval from any source to make any financial purchase or obligation to the church. In some situations, the church financial budgets are not presented to it’s membership for approval and passage, or for that matter voting on any action taken by the church administrations. Standard application of abused and controlled by tactics intended to create obedience and loyalty to the church administrations, bible passages are contorted to bend to the church administrations. personal opinions -- and those that question or stand up to such abuses can sometimes face administration discipline, public humiliation from the pulpit, or even be "excommunicated" -- which can be quite stressful to someone who still accepts the core doctrines.
