May God touch the hearts of Boko Haram to stop the aggression against Nigeria and release the Chibok girls and all other such victims in their captivity. But I have my doubts on the so-called on-going negotiation with BH. I just listened to Danladi Ahmadu, the self-proclaimed Secretary of BH and I heard him referring to their organization as Boko Haram, a term only used by Nigerians to describe their opposition to Western education. They have never referred to themselves as such, instead they prefer to be called Jamaati ahli sunnah bid dawati waj jihad. The repeated reference to president Jonathan as our leader (shugaban mu na Nigeria) betrays the strong and sanctimonious posturing of the BH. Even though, Danladi ascribed recent attacks on some communities in Adamawa and Bornu to rascals and criminal gangs, as if they are also not criminals, the ceasefire agreement is just a hoax. I hope this is not the mother of all 419s where some fraudsters are using their advanced criminal skills to defraud a clueless country.
