In honor of this, our Deputy Director, Saima Husain, is traveling to D.C this week with the other invited API leaders from across the nation. Saima will be speaking at the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) roundtable on Behavioral Health, attending the CAPAC Congressional Symposium and the AAPI Behavioral Health Forum hosted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to highlight the cultural and linguistic needs of the South Asian American community.
