May is right around the corner and it is lupus awareness month!! I would like to get as many people together as I can for a group moment wearing purple and holding up your hand in the shape of a L! Its a lot to ask because I realize everyone is so busy, but lupus is misunderstood and deadly. Ive buried a parent and a grandparent both died from complications of this horrible disease!!! So friends Im asking you to make the impossible possible, and help me reach out to the rest of the world! All that is required is you to wear purple and show up! It really is that simple! There has been one new drug found in the last 50 years that is unacceptable in every since of the word! Im a lupus warrior and proud to be battling in the trenches but I know Nacogdoches and I know how you rally for your own so spread the word and lets make this happen!!!
