Maybe, its a sign of advancing whuss-dom, but I increasingly look forward to my after-sunset sessions with the Big, White Slug! After an ok, if not great afternoon sesh, briefly shared by Jim and Jan, I stuck my 6.6 onto the big board once things had settled after sunset, and had a delightful time. But I do need advice: to persuade it to turn, I definitely have to pull up with the outside foot. Alas, the footstrap is obviously way out there and at an awkward angle once I start rotating, so - after getting stuck once, with predictably wet results - I now pull my foot out early, and, not knowing what to do with it, kind a keep it in the air a spell. Surely, that is not quite right?? any advice would be appreciated! PS: the Big White Slug and I managed 24.5knots this evening, with wind gusting to 18mph
