Maybe its just the nature of our society, but we seem to have a strange sense of entitlement when it comes to going through hard times in our lives. The truth is, the world is going to hit you in the hardest way it knows how. And just when you get yourself back together, its going to do it again. We survive by taking each one of these experiences by growing from them and adapting. Some of us let the hits take over who they are, and their lives become the bruises and cuts they have accumulated over time. They let their pasts define them. You are more than your cuts and bruises. Learn and grow, use what you have experienced and be the best person you can. Because honestly... we need it.
