Maybe its just the whiskey talking, but I am THRILLED to have come across this track after not hearing it for a number of years. Ill cop to being somewhat nostalgic for early-90s trance/techno—think R & S, CJ Bolland, Dan Curtin, Jam & Spoon, 808 State, Carl Craig, Cybersonik, early Aphex Twin, 3 Phase, and a hundred others—but I dont care. This one sends me into an immediate, heavenly reverie. Driving, pulsating, immersive, and sublime. It takes me back to the time when I believed underground music could wake us up to be anything we wanted to be. Maybe I still believe it...
