Maybe this isnt as POPULAR or likely to garner as many likes.... but I must ask you this ONE simple question. (If youve seen it watch it again. Today on the day all of our buried vulnerabilities are exposed). ONE question. And answer it truthfully with full consideration. ... Does it bother you that our Government, after the death of 3,000 of us, has the gall to spy on you? To dishonor the memories of innocent people? Does it bother you that while the groups who caused these deaths (AQ, ISIS, LeT) get stronger... the excuse being used to spy on you is to weaken them? DOES. It. BOTHER. YOU?! Thousands of people. Many of them better human beings and more accomplished than me or you put together... died so that this could be done to us. They jumped from windows 100 stories high to escape something obviously so horrid its unimaginable. .... so. DOES IT BOTHER YOU. That this ineffective nonsense is being done in their name? That the constitution that they were killed for being protected under... is being ripped to shreds? DOES. THAT. BOTHER. YOU? ---- Too abrasive? Listen to this man ask it. Exit out if you want. But he speaks from an emotional appeal and its one question. If youve seen it once? See it again. Today it will feel completely different. I swear. It did to me. Because all of the emotion about what we have sacrificed has been brought to the surface and its not so easy to brush off this American patriot, dedicated man... not the ACLUs simple question. And its in the name of those corpses of great American people. Some of whom sacrificed their lives to stop a plane from reaching D.C. ... does it bother you? In THEIR name? Do you think thats what they want? Because their families sure as hell dont. On this day of ALL days. Since this is done in the name of those people whove died... whos families condemn this. Watch in on this day when youve been overcome with reminders of the vulnerability we never truly let go of, though weve buried it. Watch it and see HIS vulnerability. OUR vulnerability. Is this the legacy we leave behind? Is this what we preserved for those who died that day? Would they approve? Would they want it for their children? ... The terrorists arent trying to destroy our bodies. Setting up an Islamic state so far away. Putting out videos to make us scared and angry. Storming embassies and running. They dont see the world in terms of life. They dont care for our lives. They care for our sense of security and way of life. They arent killing bodies. The soldiers dying are sacrificing their lives and they keep going BACK... because they see what those people are, and they see whats happening here because of them. They arent killing us from the OUTSIDE. They... are killing us.... from the inside. And I am afraid this will be unpopular. But our fear, our wrath, our vulnerability being covered by our smaller, base instincts to meet them on their primitive ground.... .... is allowing them to win. They ARE killing us. From the inside. In fact. Through sheer fear... Were killing ourselves. On the inside. And here I thought Western Civilization was founded on dying on the outside to preserve what weve nourished within.
