#MayneMan thought: I know many people are not too quick to read DDBS or Pieces of Me, and thats OK. Whether its poetry, a novel, or a song, it will require you to think. I did an interview this past Sunday and the link is on my wall (and author page). Someone sent me an e-mail about it and this is what it said: I just got done listening to your interview. It was so amazing to hear the ways your book and your willingness to tell your story has helped so many people. That was caller was right when she said DDBS is hard to read. Its hard because it hurts so much to even imagine that there are abusers and predators who do such horrific things to children, teens, and other human beings. If the book can make a reader feel so angry, outraged, emotionally crushed, and feeling helpless, how much more so does the reality cause a victim to feel that way! BTW, thanks Tracy Crookston Tennant for the e-mail. You were a great help to me during the course of writing that book!
