Mayor Bill Peduto answers questions about all that money he gave away on the show, Undercover Boss. Peduto was unapologetic. He says, “If I can raise money to help worthy causes and worthy institutions Im going to - thats part of my job. The mayor told Channel 11 News that he is still about $40,000 short and that most of the money came from private corporations that prefer to remain anonymous. The bottom line: Peduto said no taxpayer dollars were ever used. “Nobody had questions last week when we raised a quarter million dollars to feed the hungry. Nobody had questions when we did our fundraising for Officer Rocco. Now all of a sudden its like, ‘Whats he trying to hide?’ So I guess I was kind of caught off guard. Maybe next time we have to make sure all the works done at the fore, at the beginning,” he said.
