Mayor Leroy Sullivan Councilman Emile Spano Realtors Don Guillot and Peggy Guillot Dear Officials et al: Today I received a $200 bill (to increase to $500) for the city cutting a lot I own, which is 30’ wide (and recedes) by about 100’, a large portion covered with concrete. a) Small lot b) High dollar c) NO NOTIFICATION d) The grass on the adjacent lot, owned by the CITY, was higher than mine With the next bill prospectively being $500 for my little lot, I would think it fair that when YOUR grass is higher than mine, and your lot being about 5 times larger, I can cut it and bill you $2500, right? Thank you. Please make it out to * Paul Marchand * PS: our family had a lot (perhaps 100 x 100 ) in Gonzales. The city would notify us by mail, and if we did not cut it in a specified period ( perhaps 2 weeks) , they would cut it for about $40. This was about 10 years ago, if memory serves me well.
